While all versions of Netscape Navigator/Communicator have been known internally as "Mozilla", this page deals with the Mozilla 5 browser developed by Mozilla.org. This is a completely different browser from previous "Mozilla", "Navigator" and "Communicator" versions.

Netscape Version 6 uses the Mozilla Version 5 rendering engine (Gecko) and is largely the same browser as Mozilla 5 despite the difference in version numbers. Generally, comments and behaviors regarding Netscape Version 6 also apply to Mozilla Version 5 and vice versa.

• Version 5: "Equation Editing" does not support Drag and Drop. Otherwise, Version 5 is compatible with iTutor Study Groups.
  NOTE: Mozilla Version 5 is still very much a new product and has lots of bugs (having nothing to do with iTutor Study Groups). Use at your own risk with all websites.
